Colorado Stretch Mark Treatment Stretch marks present as red or white areas that occur commonly on the arms, chest, abdomen, buttock and thighs. These can result from pregnancy, weight gain or trauma. Stretch marks represent a dermal scar in which the connective tissue (collagen and elastin) within the dermis is disrupted.

Stretch marks that are flat and white cannot be treated. Those that are red and raised can be improved. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL™) technology is a treatment breakthrough that is a safe and non-invasive solution that can help decrease the redness in the scar. A series of treatments may be required.
